HEY FROM INA MAY GIG-A-MONTH NYC & CT Hey Friends, Thanks so much for a great night at the Christopher Street Coffeehouse! That was the first time in my life I played a set of all new and unrecorded songs. Except for the Hank Williams, which is not new or unrecorded, but new to me. Reinvention, people. It continues. Catch up with me in three different places in the next three months. This Tuesday, Feb 21 Monthly Singer/Songwriter Gala & Enclave at Lovecraft, 50 Ave. B, NYC A wide and friendly array of songwriters each playing a half-hour set beginning with Ed and Greta Tristram at 7 pm. My set is from 8:30 to 9. "Gala" designation notwithstanding, this is a cozy and informal bar downstairs on the Lower East Side. Each artist will do a song by one of the many who left us in 2016. I'll be covering a Merle Haggard song along with my originals, and Bowie, Prince, Cohen, and others will be represented by other songwriters.
